“The Moisture Sandwich" consists of two conditioning agents designed to drastically reduce porosity, while providing a bed for increased moisture retention.  Other products mix protein into a thick cream base that tends to inhibit penetration of the protein, thus limiting the duration of the moisturization. The SILK2 approach is to spray and massage the SILK2 “Protofoam Plus” into a foam, this encourages penetration and moisture absorption. We then seal moisture into the hair shaft by coating the protein enhanced hair with SILK2 “Moistec Super Moisturizing conditioner”.  The resulting “Moisture Sandwich” creates the perfect environment for long lasting moisturization.  Finish with 10-15 minutes under a hair dryer with a plastic cap to improve penetration and coverage.
